U. S. Complete Shooting Dog Association The U. S. Complete Shooting Dog Association held its annual meeting at the Club House of the Dick Cross Wildlife Management Area, in Boydton, VA. First order of business was the voting member sign in and proxies counted. Insurance was then discussed, with no changes. National Open Invitational was the next order of business, after discussion motion was made that the Open Invitational will now be run in conjunction with the Futurity and be known as the Bob Lee U.S. Complete Shooting Dog Invitational Championship and all dogs who place in an US Complete Shooting Dog or Derby stake will have an invitation to the Chamionship. So that any dog placing in an Amateur or Open Shooting Dog or Derby Stake in an U.S. Complete Trial will be eligible to run in Bob Lee Shooting Dog Championship. All agreed. The U. S. Complete National Amateur Championship will be held in IL on February 20-22, 2015 hosted by the Central States Region. Amateur Invitational will be held at Dick Cross WMA in Boydton, VA on December 5-7, 2014; National Open Championship will be held in Cheraw, SC at Coopr Black WMA on January 8-11, 2015. Anyone wanting to host any of the National Championship’s please contact the Secretary or the President. Aaron McAffe and the Central States Region will host the 2015-2016 Open National Championship. Discussion was then opened up as to where the membership would like next years meeting. Many requested something more upscale such as Williamsburg, so the new President will be left in charge with picking a date and setting up the details. The floor was opened up for nominations for Officers. The nominating Committee read the list of nominations they had and no new nominations came from the floor. The Officer to be voted on are as follows: President Art Mourino All were approved and they will be the officers for the next two years. It was also discussed that we need a marketing director but no motion was made to finalize the matter. The meeting was then brought to a close.
